ReVision Theatre of Asbury Park & Broadway Speaks OUT! Presents ReVision Theatre’s 2010 Season Launch Event

ReVision Theatre (Asbury Park, NJ) in association with Broadway Speaks OUT! is proud to kick off their 2010 season with a bang. This special concert event will feature Broadway’s own Anthony Hollock (HAIR, Mr. Broadway 2009) along with several other current Broadway notables performing songs from ReVision’s upcoming season including; The Who’s TOMMY (July 8-25), THE BIKINIS: World Premiere (August 12-22), and THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (October 21-31).

This special ReVision membership event will take place Sunday February 21 from 7 pm to 10 pm at Trinity and the Pope (formerly Mattison Park restaurant), a brand new authentic New Orleans style restaurant/lounge in Asbury Park.  Members will enjoy fabulous food, stellar entertainment and free drinks sponsored by 42 Below Vodka.

Anthony Hollock graduated from Point Park University in Pittsburgh with a degree in musical theatre. Upon his graduation, he moved to NYC. Not long after his arrival in the Big Apple he landed the top gig in the theatre world. He was cast in the Public Theatres revival of HAIR. The show as originally mounted in Central Park as a three-day concert. The following year it became the hit of the summer, running for several weeks and being extended twice.

Due to the success of this production in the park, the Public Theatre decided to move it to Broadway. Anthony has since been crowned Mr. Broadway 2009 in the Mr. Broadway Beauty Pageant. HAIR has given him the opportunity to be featured on The Soup, The Tony Awards, The View, Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan OBrien, Last Call with Carson Daly, and more! He will be making his West End debut in London with the company of HAIR in the spring of 2010.

Anthony formed BSO! with his partner Marti Gould Cummings as a way of showing the world their relationship deserved the same rights under the law and as a way to spread equality with his friends in the Broadway community.

Announcing 2010 Season of Musicals – Tickets go on sale Beginning January 23
Asbury Park, NJ (January 13, 2010)  ReVision Theatre a professional theatre company located in Asbury park, NJ announces their return to the historic carousel house on the Boardwalk for the summer productions of The Who’s TOMMY, a World Premiere of a new musical THE BIKINIS followed by THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW in the fall. The Asbury landmark location that once housed the famous hand carved 100 year old carousel will be transformed once again into a 220 seat theatre, rocking the house for the summer beginning in July. This southwest jewel on the corner of Asbury/Ocean Avenue is steps away from the boardwalk and a short walk from Downtown Cookman Avenue shops and restaurants.
